Fledglings Pre-school Rated 'Good' on last Ofsted June 2023
Our Pre-school offers a safe, happy, welcoming and educationally stimulating environment in which children can ‘learn through play’ to prepare them for school and life.
We are a term-time only provision and offer government-funded or privately funded places for children aged from 9 months up to 4 years.

We also offer 30 hours free childcare for working parents, but there is a strict criterion for this provision, so please speak to Anna White to find out if you are eligible. Please also visit the Best Start in Life website, which has lots of information about funding for under 2s, 2-year-olds, 3 and 4-year-olds, tax-free childcare and much more. We currently have places for children in each of our three rooms – Hatchlings for our under 2s, Nestlings for our 2 to 3-year-olds and Fledglings for our 3 and 4-year-olds. For further details or to arrange a visit to either provision, please call Anna White on 01992 805153.

There are full wrap-around services, which are situated in Upshire Primary Foundation School. We offer breakfast and afterschool club provisions for Upshire Primary School children and also for our Pre-school children. The clubs for Pre-school children follow the Early Years Framework and have banded charges according to age.
