Upshire Primary Foundation School Inspire*Excite*Achieve

Welcome

Welcome to the Upshire Primary Foundation School.  Thank you for showing an interest in our school and viewing our website.

There has been a school at Upshire since 1874. It was then housed in a building on the Warlies Estate. The present school has been on this site since 1939. The buildings have been extended and altered a lot during this time. A major refurbishment was carried out during 1989/90 with redecoration and upgrading of many facilities.

The school covers The Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, that is from ages 4 to 11. We currently have 233 children on roll.

At Upshire we find ways to teach a creative curriculum that excites children and promotes a thirst for learning.

Visitors tell us that we are a friendly and welcoming school. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find the information that you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly (you will find our details on the contact page) with any queries you may have.
