Good afternoon Upshire Primary!
Children are continuing to do an amazing job with their home learning, as are you! Teachers have asked me to say how proud they are of the children completing their learning and also to remind children to hit the ‘hand-in’ icon when the work is complete; teachers will then know they have finished. It is worth your children checking their Purple Mash accounts throughout the day as teachers may message or send additional support in the ‘2do’ icon.
I have had a challenge set by Dominik Y5 and Laura Y2N – a virtual Easter competition. If you would like to take on this challenge email your entries to email@example.com I will set up an Easter competition page on the school website www.upshireprimaryschool.com so you can have a look at your competitors. I am sure Mrs Ward will be more than happy to judge ☺
Feedback from various families we have spoken to is very positive but the expression ‘this is a marathon and not a sprint’ means we have to also think about the mental and emotional impact COVID 19 is having on our children and indeed ourselves. Have a look at the links on the posts below, which may support your family during these unprecedented times.
Keep safe and best wishes.
