  • peace of mind for parents/carers, knowing that your child is safe and happy in a club that is reliable and offers a consistent service.

The Afterschool Club will:

  • provide the highest possible standard of care in secure and supportive surroundings;
  • create an environment where children can relax after the school day, we want them to feel comfortable and happy;
  • encourage children to join in a variety of activities and play;

All Key Stage 2 children booked into the Club will be informed before the end of the school day that they are attending Club, the class teacher will also be made aware of the children attending Club from their class.  When the bell rings for the end of school the child will come to the hall.  Children from the Pre-school, Reception Class and Key Stage 1 will be collected from their classroom and taken to the hall.

Once the register has been taken the children will be able to chose an activity.  Snack usually takes place between 4.30pm and 4.50pm.

Only people authorised by the parents/carers on your child’s registration form are allowed to collect your child, unless staff are informed otherwise.  All children should be collected by 5.45pm.  If you are running a little late please let us know.  Children who are not collected by 5.45pm and where we have not been informed that you or the person authorised to pick up your child is running late,  a late pick up fee will be added to your club account.
